Confrontation between Judges about Sarath Fonseka at ‘Dance stars Dance’ Final:
The Swarnavahini’s ‘Dance Stars Dance’ reality show finals were held last night at the Sugathadasa indoor stadium. At one instance, a judge Mervyn Silva stated that everyone here should be fortunate to come here without any fear without hearing the sounds of firing, as the ethnic war in now over. The Hon President, Defence Secretary and the Government should be hailed for ending the war.
Immediately Ranjan Ramanayake, an opposition member of Parliament also a Judge who was on stage said credit and respect should also go the Sarath Fonseka. Mervyn Silva said he is convicted and is now in jail. During his reply Ranjan was able to get the entire audience to applaud Sarath Fonseka. In shame Mervyn Silva told not to talk like an insane by saying such statements.
